" Step into this white, 4-storey renovated house in Si Lom for an intimate dining experience. Chef Prin Polsuk, known for his work at Nahm, and his wife Thanyaporn ‘Mint’ Jarukittikun change the tasting menu every two months. Rooted in traditional Thai recipes but inspired by discoveries on their travels, one season’s menu may spotlight treasures from Isan, while the next may boast the best of Southern Thai flavours." - guide michelin.

This restaurant is from the outside very stealthy. Not much shows that you will have a wonderful evening with good food, nice ambiance and a perfect service. I would say this was a great experience for the solo dinner as they have a large kitchen counter you sit side by side at with full view of the kitchen.
As with all these restauants, the photos above and dishes served vary by the seasons and this makes discussions about anything what was served a tad uninteresting as you will experience something different. I do love their concept. When I was there - the "heroes" of the dinner experience was different local fishes from southern Thailand and cashew nuts. So the snack was a few cashew nuts with different flavours and spices.
Service is snack, starters, mains and then desserts. It can be paired with a nice winelist but this was actually the first place I have visited where I skipped wine pairing and just went with water and cocktails. They do have a nice wine and cocktail list with very interesting thai flavours - house-infused local spirits (lao khao).
This is NOT a proper fine dining with white tablecloths, discrete service and all those fancy stuff you might expect. It can also be experienced as a rushed dinner as it is two serverings per day with 2.5 hours seating time. But on the other hand you can experience proper Thai flavors. Probably the most authentic of all Guide Michelin restaurants in Bangkok. In my mind - this is not watered down for us Farangs but how I felt Thai food should taste like. There is no way to hide those robust, heavy flavorings in the food. There are no gimmicks here - more a homey dinner party. Caveat: it always depends on the guest!!! If you get a freak sitting next to you.. it may impact your overall experience.

| Presentation matters - the dinner all focused around a certain area in Thailand with fish and cashews as stars of the day |
The menu keeps changing but you may experience something like flaky fish as snacks, herb sallad, goat satay and pumpkin noodle with lobster as starters. Pork jowl, beef curry and pomfret (a flat bytterfish) as main dishes and then pudding, custard, sherbet as desserts.
And that video:
Wonderful place! I do recommend you trying their locally flavored spirits.
